    Default car scene in SW Florida?

    Hey guys I'm moving down to Ft. myers florida mid August and was wondering if their is much of a sports car scene down in southwest florida. The reason i am asking this is because I am from the detroit area and every friday and saturday night around here car enthusiasts take their cars out down to woodward ave just to cruise and meet up with other car people. Just wondering if there is a place down here near ft. myers where people do that. Thanks!

    depending on what you got... down in Miami we have Speed Style and Performance - Miami and Jacksonville Car and Truck Club of Florida but down by your area I know the Naples Car Club | West Coast Muscle Car Club are a cool bunch of people...

    I am sure more guys will be able to give you better input.

    Every 3rd saturday of the month the Dupont Registry has a cars and coffee, but that's around Tampa.

    Moved to Ft.Myers a couple years ago myself. There are some meets around here, but mostly young kids and allot of shenanigan's involving the Police. I'm out lol. Naples Motorsports has a nice cruise in meet once a month. If you are up for a drive the best place to go is Sebring for one of our track days with Chin Motorsports. I am going to check out the Dupont Registry meet soon.

    I grew up in Fort Myers. Like Shawn C said there's just a bunch of crazy kids at most of the local meets. There's some quality car meets but they're few and far between. Good luck with the move!

    Saturday nights in Naples. Carilon Plaza. Pine Ridge Road and Airport-Pulling Road. Towards the end of the plaza by Boston Market and Pier1. 6pm an informal cruise in/show.

    Usually picks up when the weather cools off down here a bit.
