Default Florida: Rossion Q1 Road Trip Ideas?

Hey, I'm Ian. Thanks for the warm welcome so far.

At the beginning of September, I will fly down from Nashville to Fort Lauderdale to take delivery of my new Rossion Q1. I couldn't be more excited. This car represents a year of hell turning my business around, and then going in the opposite direction, having plenty of savings and security for once. Plus I paid off 2 years of back taxes in March!

So, it's time to celebrate BIG! This is something I've never done before so I am looking for suggestions.

I'm flying down with the wife who is a big supporter and knows exactly what this means to me, so don't need to think of things to do just to make the trip worth it for her.

    1. Order my favorite Perrier Jouet champagne and have it shipped to Ian at Rossion HQ so he can chill it for us.
    2. Fly from Nashville to Fort Lauderdale
    3. Rossion staff pick us up from airport
    4. Take delivery of car, wife recording video and getting pics
    5. pop the champagne!!!! yea!... hell i'll get an extra so I can pop it F1 style and pour it on myself yesss lol.
    6. Where should we go for dinner there?
    7. What's a nice hotel in the area?
    8. We want to stop in Miami
    9.... that's all I know now...

So, any suggestions for fun things to do/see on the way up from Miami to TN?

Thank you very much for your valuable time.

    Ian

Id drive a little North to Palm Beach, and stay at the Omphoy hotel....you and your wife will love it - right on the ocean.

Probably about 20-30 minutes from Rossion.

Michelle Bernstein, celebrity chef has a great restaurant there as well.

Palm Beach Luxury Oceanfront Florida Hotel / Omphoy Ocean Resort

Im sure there are plenty other places both north and south, but staying there will be memorable.

Geared, nice to meet you and thank you very much for the suggestions. I wish my wife had a drivers license already (she's korean and we haven't been able to move to america yet due to visa processing lag) so we could rent her an r8 and go on a drive together. Maybe that's better done somewhere like Highway1 in CA as long as there are no pieces if it falling into the ocean anymore.

    Those hotels look great

    - Delano

    Restaurants

    - Vita Restaurant and Lounge (Good wed, fri and sat)
    - STK Steak House
    - Azul
    - The Forge
    - Prime 112
    - Zuma
    - Mr. Chow
    - Joe's Stone Crab

    Clubs:

    - LIV
    - Mynt
    - SET
    - Mokai

If you need to rent a car talk to John from LLV (Lou La Vie). Has a nice selection of cars, great customer service and the best prices in town!

If you're young I'd add a couple clubs to that.

"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checked by failure... Than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.” - Theodore Roosevelt

That's awesome... nothing like hard work paying off... congrants! Here are my .02 cents... If you want to do it in style you need to stay in Miami Beach in one of the many amazing hotels. This way you will be able to cruise in your Rossion in Ocean drive where all Exotics go.... take the wife to lincoln road she will appreciate it....

Congrats! As stated above, that's a beautiful car.
I can't help with suggestions for Miami, but I assume you're coming through Atlanta on your way home.
If so, plan your trip to miss rush hour traffic. Atlanta traffic sucks from 7-10am and 4-7pm. If you hit it mid-day or a week night it's not too bad. If your schedule lets you stop while you're here, let me know.
