    Default Atlanta Vinyl Wraps

I have been trying to find quality companies in the Atlanta area to do a satin wrap on my car. Google searches have helped me to find places that do vinyl wraps but i do not know if they have done quality work. I keep hearing about Premier out in California and have contacted them for recommendations but they didn't have any info for me about companies here. Does anyone here have any recommendations for where I can get this done?

I haven't heard of any good companies doing great work in our area in regards to wraps.
We are looking to offer it here at some point over the summer if we can get a group of cars scheduled up.

I'll volunteer my WRX as first car lol. There are few companies here in Atlanta that do wraps, they are known more by word of mouth than google. Another friend did his whole 09 STI at home, took time, but it was done.

I have thought about doing it myself but it would take me at least 3-4 days. I would honestly rather pay the money to have a professional do it and get some kind of warranty with it

How long are you planning on leaving it on the car?

Quality of installation is extremely important. There is also too much misinformation on the web. Here are some pointers to help members here find a quality installer.

    1. Vinyl - it is generally 1-2.5 mils thick. Some installation companies began calling it "satin wraps", "satin clear guard", etc. Do not construe them as the same as Premier's Satin Guard™. Satin Guard™ is 3-4 times thicker than the matte vinyls on the market.
    2. Installation - Most sign shops (not all however) are used to installing vinyl and graphics media onto fleet vehicles, trucks, etc.. This means that the end result only needs to look as good as it needs from 5-10' away. When up close, corner lift, bubbles, razor cuts, etc are quite prominent in this industry. Choose installer wisely as it can become an expensive mistake.
    3. Look at a sample of the work in person
    4. Do not base solely on pricing.....generally speaking, the cheaper the installer, the more inexperienced.

I would like to leave it on the car for 2-3 years...I know depending on the vinyl they have different life spans from the manufacturer.

I have tried some places that do vinyl wraps such as sign shops but the quality of work I have seen isn't up to par with what I would want. I would do it myself but I do not know how challenging it would be.
Premier I sent you a PM about purchasing the satin wrap from you. Then I could just try and find a reputable installer or buy enough material (if I can't get it on without bubbles) to try the install myself on a panel or two.

Wraps sometimes are known to peel some clear coat/paint with them when taken off after years. I think there are new wraps that let them breath and not create such bonding. If i come across someone who does locally, I'll let you know. Till then i recommend doing heavy reading on them. Just my 2cents.

True to some extent. If it is installed onto aftermarket paint then it is possible. With OEM paint, it is highly unlikely.
