Thread: Any GOOD car wrap shops here in Austin?

So I am from Venice Beach CA & a recent transplant here in Austin TX.. SO its apparent that Austin is not into the after market scene at all here, in fact all I see are bumper guards on all the SUVS!

Im looking for a shop that handles big rims & tires, good audio & are able to do a car wrap for my KMC sponsored ride.

Any suggestions?

A good friend of mine owns Elevation Wraps in Austin. He has done a few wraps for me and does awesome work. My company actually did the design work and then he put them on. For audio work...check out Hydrotunes. They specialize in boats but are top notch installers that can do everything from big time home theatre to cars to boats! There is a reason why we have grille guards on our SUV/Trucks as the wildlife is alittle more abundant than Venice Beach....

LOL, yeah I saw a few deer running around !! It is a little different than Venice for sure....

Yeah, please keep us posted on Elevation Wraps. They used to office up the street from me before they moved to 620. I dig the tiger shark/fighter plane wrap they did on their H2.

Also, skinzwraps.com does a shit ton of good work. They are out of Dallas, but will send an installer to you. I'm pretty sure they did CDubb's ACR-X Viper and FGT?

Sunbusters has done 3m clear bras and tint for me in the past. Always, had a good experience with them, but haven't dealt with them after they moved off of Burnet.

As for stereo installers... I've used them all, and have not been impressed by any of them. Audio Dimensions used to do some killer work, but they are long gone. So I'm no help.

Gotta be careful driving after dark here. Deer, hogs, etc... They will **** your shit up!

Be sure to post up some pics of your KMC ride. Always loved KMC, good value and good rims. I have Dimes on my Escalade and Camo XDs on my Tahoe.
