Unfortunately it is not real. It is a 993 kitted. Per the Porsche official 959 publication: the roof, the wings and the back of the bodywork were made of Kevlar. Therefore a sun roof is not possible. You cannot really see it in the pics, but there is a sunroof.

From what I have seen and heard, Houston C&C is now very well organized and I think that it has proven extremely well these past months where the event has grown tremendously.
The beautiful thing about C&C is that it has no board of directors or anything like that. It's just great people gathering to share their love for automobiles.
The people behind Houston C&C (I've had the privilege to talk to them) are great people who do this out of love for cars and spend alot of time and effort to make sure that it keeps improving. The event is non-commercial and they have done a great job at keeping it this way.
Also, you are correct Houston C&C doesn't have a DJ, free food nor drinks and this is because the gathering is dedicated for the pure love of automobiles and is not a car show. As their slogan says, this is the place "where all automotive enthusiasts meet to share the same passion".
And as for the cruises, I have checked out videos on YouTube where last year C&C used to put on a cruise. I requested information on that and they have actually been working on the morning cruise again for some time now and will begin doing it again soon.
PS: I have not been to the Urban Speed and I do plan to attend to see how it is.Last edited by lambo_r; 04-19-2010 at 11:34 PM.
