Default DFW on Sat. What to do?

In DFW for a few days beginning Sat. for business. Any recommendations on what to see or do? Any worthwhile events going on this weekend?

There is always a lot going on in DFW on the weekends.

Two questions will help me help you.

In what part of DFW will you be staying?

What do you like to do: live music, museums, sports, etc?

I'll be there as well tonight with KoGent. I'll be out probably Friday, Saturday also (the life of a single guy). Happy Hour for sure Friday. you can PM me as well.

Staying at Westin City Center. Interested in at least a great steak. Watching interesting people. Maybe a Cars&Coffee type meet up Sun morning. One Sat night in DFW, what's the one place not to miss?

For steak, based on your location, I would recommend Bob's

As far as can't miss places on Saturday night, the Ghost Bar is pretentious, but a lot of eye candy. If you want laid back, you could try something like The Barley House

I might be available for breakfast on Sunday.

I would check out Al Biernat's (on Oak Lawn) or The Capital Grill (next to the Crescent) if you want a great steak. Check out the grassy noll downtown for a bit of history. Night time I would suggest Kizmet Lounge on Greenville, it's trendy and a lot of fun!

Food at Al Biernat's was fantastic. Thanks for the recommendation.
Lecterman, sorry I couldn't make it for breakfast.
I thought the summer heat in DC was bad, but it is downright steamy here, too.

Yeah, it's been rather hot in Dallas lately, detailing the cars yesterday sucked and my cheap friend forgot to have cold beer waiting. There is a car's and coffee tomorrow morning at Classic BMW me and a couple of friends might be rolling to as long as tonight doesn't get too outta hand. Should be a good weekend in dallas

Back for another trial in Dallas this week. What's with your scorching weather?

Arriving Sun, staying thru the following Tue, and there's about a 107% chance I'll be having a steak at Al Biernat's on Fri or Sat.

    Anything noteworthy happening this week/weekend?
