Good driving roads around Las Vegas?
So I'm in Vegas for the summer and I want to go out and explore some of the area's mountain roads but don't really know what's good. Does anybody have some recommendations? Other than checking out the Red Rock scenic drive and hitting up Hoover Dam years back I haven't really left The Strip, so I'd look forward to any drive that gets me out of Sin City for a couple of hours.

Check with Rever. He's local out there and seems to know the car scene pretty well. I had fun driving into Vegas from Denver a few years back in my Lightning. Its been a while but I remember some good twisties and long straights. Don't remember how far out I was though- that was one of the few times I did that drive.

I would highly recommend Red rock canyon, valley of fire and the road around lake mead. Nice tight turns and some long straight aways.
PM me if you have any questions.
