I have a few, a regular monogram, a damier and a camouflage...never worry about them getting taken, but I wouldn't check any of them anyways.

I'd get the roadster instead, the keepall a) fits nothing b) is so annoying to pack,c) shoulder strap is thin and digs into your shoulder. The roadster opens way bigger and fits more stuff. IMHO

I was planning on picking up a keepall but I think I'll be getting a roadster instead, it would be much easier to pack stuff in!

I fly with my Keepall 60 all the time and haven't had any problems. I can fit plenty of stuff in mine. Now if you are packing for anymore than a week I think you would need another bag or a bigger one. But for up to 7 days or so I can fit shoes and clothes in there.

why would you check a duffel bag on a flight? it's time consuming and can damage your luggage.

Buy a Tumi, and carry on the duffle.

the carry all isn't supposed to be checked. it will inevitably get damaged - tumi is bulletproof.

Because the keepall 55 is the biggest that can fit in the overhead compartment.
