Default F1 champion takes a shot at shades

As if a Formula One championship and a wife who vied for Miss Scandinavia didn't make Kimi Raikkonen cool enough, now he has his own brand of shades.

Speedway sunwear, the latest offering from TAGHeuer Eyeware, has produced a pair of sunglasses with an F1 pedigree. The feature list could have been cribbed straight from secret Ferrari documents.

Lightweight titanium alloy frame, shock-resistant polycarbonate lenses, super-adherent tips for long-wearing comfort-all the things that make an F1 car hot make these glasses cool.

The lenses offer UV-A and UV-B protection, have a special coating to resist dust and fingerprints, and the lenses come in gray or polarized brown to reduce reflections.

Maybe McLaren's Lewis Hamilton could have used these exiting the pits at Canada? The special edition glasses will be released in July and will be available for a limited time.

They aren't bad looking at all....Judging by the 'ambassadors', Tag Heuer works to make its products synonymous with F1 and Golf.
    Life's good.

I like them too, and wonder what they'll cost? I'll try to find a link.

Not bad but I do prefer Designer shades of Dior, Tomford, Gucci, D&G and Prada over this.
