Thread: Bentley CEO Reveals Hybrid and SUV Plans

The next generation Bentleys will come as a plug-in hybrid. Bentley CEO Wolfgang Dürheimer has revealed new details about the green technology which will propel the luxurious British cars.

In an interview with Car and Driver, Wolfgang Dürheimer said Bentley will use technology that is shared with other brands in the Volkswagen Group. The British carmaker could benefit from the developments, experience and budgets of the VW Group, which also consists of brands such as Audi and Porsche.

That has got to be the ugliest SUV I've ever seen (besides the Pontiac Aztec).

I'm guessing it'll be based on the Toureg. Hopefully they come up with a better name than Maserati and Porsche did with their Kubang and Cajun

i actually think a plug in hybrid would be great on a V8 CGT. you can drive gilt free for errands and have power when needed. the increase in MPG would possibly remove guzzler tax too.

as for the suv, i think it does dilute the brand. hope they create a new body style instead of rebadging a VW.

This makes the Kubang look like a beauty.
