Default STATE FARM AUTO INSURANCE - HORRIBLE!

Not sure where to put this thread - feel free to locate it.

While on the Italian Stampede 2011, a Ferrari 612 accidentally backed in to us. Thru Manfried's recommendation, we had our Bentley Supersports flatbedded to ELIs Auto Center.

Our SS was flatbedded on Tues 8/23/2011...and we have been waiting for STATE FARM to come out...it is MON 8/29/2011 and our car is basically just sat there.

I called their offices and got transferred from their New Mexico office to Illinois to California...just very unprofessional.

STATE FARM IS HORRIBLE - sorry just venting!!!

I've had SF for years and never had an issue. I was hit and ran and got my car in the shop the same day. I do have a hunch that they sent about every claims agent to the east coast.
East bound and down, loaded up and truckin',
we're gonna do what they say can't be done.

SF is quick to assign a claim number and rep. It may take a week or so for an adjustor to see the car. Usually body shops send pictures of the damage now and direct bill insurance co.

You have exotics and you aren't using chubb? They're expensive, but it's totally worth it.

I <3 my SF service, had them for years without any issues. I bet they are just behind, because of all the stuff that happened on the east coast with the earthquake and hurrincane.

That sucks to hear, hopefully its just a mix up on their part. I've had SF ever since I started driving, never had a problem and are always quick to help. Hope it works out for the better for you.
