Question MY12 CGT Black / Help me?

I am currently considering buying a used MY12 CGT - in black...

But what kind of black should i look after - I have 3 different to choose from in the Bentley catalog.

    - Beluga (solid)
    - Diamond Black (metallic)
    - Onyx (metallic)

I usually go for metallic - and is therefore interested in the difference between Diamond Black and Onyx.
I've seen a lot of the newer MY's from both Aston and Bentley in Onyx - and not Obsidian Black (Aston language for Black metallic) or Diamond Black.
    BUT WHY?

Diamond black has a finer flake to the metallic. Onyx is a "coarser" flake. Diamond black almost looks like a DARK, DARK grey.

anything not in black - always looks dirty (black (or dark) color car owners know what i mean!)

    semi-serious about this

Thank you for the explanation. Would you recommend Diamond Black or Onyx for the new CGT with Beluga int. / Piano Black trim / Linen stitching and the Mulliner Drive Spec.?

Can anyone help me with this:

What stitching color is shiny silver??? Just like Aston Martin's "Silver" thread.

These are the colors I have narrowed it down to:
    - Porpoise
    - Portland
    - Linen

My dealer says Portland, but after some google'ing I don't find it silver at all - linen is more cream and porpoise to dark?
