Whys is RR talking about the Hybrid 120 ex?
Is it just to meet mpg requirements?

At least the electric engine will play well into the "whisper quiet" interiors for the RR.

I don't think it's a rumor. They will most likely build it because "green" is the new status symbol and people are buying them. The $3m price tag is crazy though

Apparently they're targeting the 2012 London Olympics so we're close enough to finding out the final details.

What is with all the hate for electric?
I see only benefits (expect for weight), better power delivery, smoother and quieter ride. There is nothing wrong with efficiency. The exterior and cabin noise levels will be drastically reduced enhancing the ultra-luxury experience.
