James Bond to drive Bentley Continental GT in new film

Two great pieces of news if your a Bond fan: Bond will be coming back in a new film based on Carte Blanche by Jeffery Deaver. I will be reading this book for sure.

Second bit of news is that Bond will be trading in his Aston Martin DBS for a big Bentley Continental GT. Luckily this new luxury car from Crewe is equipped with 567 bhp and 516 lb ft of torque.

Secret agent Bond needs all the power he can get to escape those villains and impress those bella ladies. Technology is also a big factor for the new GT and you can also be sure Bond will get some of his own gadgets for the Bentley.

Interested in the reasoning behind the switch.

Originally (In the Novels) James Bond was driving a Bentley, which is described with great details in the books.

His first Bentley, a grey 4 1/2L was crashed in a car chase with Drax (Moonraker), who is driving a Mercedes 300. He is buying another brand new one at the end of the novel, with his card games winnings

On a related note, in Goldfinger he is supposed to drive a Type E Jaguar instead of the DB5 (and the girl is supposed to drive a Mg i think, instead of a Mustang), but it is clear that it is a "company" car, as his personal car shall always remain a Bentley.

hmmm, not sure how i feel about the Bent over the Aston, but I trust they will make it work. What is the working title of the new Bond movie, and is Daniel Craig still playing Bond?
