Default Bentley GT owners, what does this message mean?

    Hello,
I just took delivery of a new to me 2006 GT. Unfortunately it does not have the owners manual so I am trying to figure everything out until I can get a manual. In the center of the dash I am getting this "P" with a line through it that is on all the time. What does this mean? Picture below.

Also is there a copy of the owners manual anywhere online by chance? Thank you for your help!

I am going to take a wild guess and say you have your parking brakes on.

P stands for the handbrake, in my car atleast, shown as (( P )), the slash through it should mean it's not on, which is useless.

Aside from that, I don't know what it means.

I have never seen that in mine, I will try to look in handbook when I get home.

No need to go out on a limp, unless you hurt yourself. You could however go out on a limb. Sorry I know as a new poster I shouldn't be a smartass but the opportunity was there so I had to take it!

But to answer your question I just got the car last night and the dealerships were closed. Nobody there this morning either.
