Rolls-Royce Coupe to be Fastest Rolls Ever
See more Rolls Royce Ghost Coupe photos at AutoGuide.comAlready seen testing in our spy photos, Rolls-Royce is readying a Coupe version of the Ghost, likely called the Corniche, that will make an impressive 600 hp.
Using a tuned version of the Ghost’s 6.6 liter twin-turbo V12, the expected 600 hp will also come along with a significant boost in torque. An eight-speed ZF transmission will be used on the Coupe, helping the car to hit its 155 mph top speed.
When the Coupe debuts, it will be the fastest car in the Rolls lineup, and to cope with the power will be fitted with tauter suspension, bigger tires, reduced weight and size, and a chassis lowered by 10mm.
The Ghost Coupe will probably bow at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show, and begin production in summer of next year, with finished products going to customers by late 2013.
