Opinions wanted on logo design
I have a designer that's playing around with some ideas of decal designs and possibly a tailgate wrap or rear window design for my Taco.
What do you guys/gals think?

I am a Graphic Designer for a living...Not that it means much lol. I like the steel plate one but I would reverse it. Make the letters Grey or white with black outline and make the plate it self the diamond plate. This way the companies name is more legible. Just my opinion.

That's exactly what I thought. And, I plan on accompanying several of my core solution's logos into the design, maybe at the bottom. Thanks for the feedback. Keep it coming.

I'm no expert, but here are my initial non-professional thoughts:
I agree with koolmikeski, the plate and text on the first one should be reversed to make it easier to read from a distance. Right now, the letters get lost in the pattern.
The second series, I almost think a simple black letters with gray outline makes it easiest to read. Again, the plate pattern makes it a little harder to discern the letters. The top and bottom options are hard to read due to the dark color/dark outline. It kind of looks like "Rlottsaletters.com." Kind of defeats the point of the sticker.
Another thing about the ".com" hanging off the right side, I think it looks sharp, but it kind of limits sticker placement to the right side of things. I think the hanging ".com" would look odd if the sticker were mounted flush on the left side of something.
Also, just a minor thing, but it would be also look cleaner if the ".com" lined up with the letters above it better. For example, the "c" starts slightly to the right of the "r" from "Industrial." It makes things look a little crooked. By stretching the width of the lower ".com" just slightly, you could have the "c" and "r" line up better. And similar for RoackRaceDeck.com, just shrink the width to match the "eck," assuming the logos aren't going to be right next to each other.

Since these will be going on either the rear window or tailgate of my silver Tacoma, what if the .com were centered under the words?

I think the last "design" looks like something laid out at zero hour by someone who didn't even know what it was being used for, incorporating a couple of specific requests, and ended up applying it to some Race Deck at gR2KX.

Would that someone be willing to take a look at designing something for the back window of my Taco? If so, please have him/her e-mail me.
And, thank you to him/her for throwing something together for the Roark RaceDeck pad. I really appreciate it!
I'm not feeling the stuff my designer is coming up with.

IMO, if you want it to be noticeable. Roark needs to be on the tailgate, not the back window.

Okay the layout is bad...looks like a cluster fvck and is hard for the eye to follow. If I understand the main company is Roark so I would have RoarkIndustrial.com by itself (maybe the phone number also but smaller) as big as possible in red letters across the back window (once they get to that website they'll find the other brands right?) then on the tailgate do the steel diamond plate and have the sub logos nicely places. Just my opinion I mean no disrespect. If you need anything PM me.
