Thread: Anyone Been to Anne-Sophie PIC at the Hotel Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne?

I'm going to Germany and Switzerland next month and I'll be staying at the Hotel Beau Rivage Palace in Lausanne.

Anne-Sophie's restaurant is there and I figure that since it has three Michelin stars, it should be a good pick.

Anyone been there? Any recommendations?

i had my worst 3-star meal ever at her restaurant five years ago. we sent some rancid tuna back & she came out to argue. (the french, in general, *refuse* to admit they don't know much about fish.)

the next day, my friend & i bought a ridiculous bottle of wine at her cafe. she came out again to apologize but refused to admit the fish was bad; and then wanted to argue again.


Maison Pic has 3 stars - are you sure this place does too? Are you sure she actually cooks there herself? (I haven't followed her after that disaster but i'd be surprised if she wasn't actually cooking at Maison Pic.)
