Default Gelato or Ice cream places?

Here's a favorite place of mine:

    Cafe Aroma
    (408) 985-9555
3488 El Camino Real, Santa Clara, CA 95051 Map it | Get directions
Cross Streets: Between Flora Vista Ave and Nobili Ave
$2.75 for 2 scoops in a small cup.
Gelato: strawberry and coconut or banana
the flavors they are great, high recommend trying them out.
    Any Other places?

In the Bay Area, my favorite places:

Bi-Rite Creamery (mission) - the ginger ice cream is my favorite ice cream ever - so very perfect. if you like really rich & creamy, you will like.

Sketch (Berkeley) - soft serve, very good stuff, particulary chocolate nib w/ olive oil and sea salt if they have it.

Ici (Berkeley) - not as creamy as I like, but very good. their ice cream sandwiches, despite being $4-5/ a piece, are extremely good - the cookie is just right. the owner used to cook at Chez Panisse.

Pizzeria Picco (Larkspur) - pretty good pizza (others like it a lot more than i do) and then you can get a soft serve bowl of ice cream afterward - pretty high quality. you can also top w/ sea salt & olive oil or a El Rey (pretty good chocolate brand) chocolate coating. makes for a good lazy afternoon if you want to drive across the bridge.

Snow Miracle (San Jose) - shaved ice that has an amazing texture - almost like cotton candy. i like the Taro best.

French Laundry (Yountville) - going to the French Laundry might sound like overkill for ice cream but their olive oil ice cream might be the best thing i've eaten there. they make it w/ a PacoJet - the miracle ice cream machine that makes perfect ice cream out of anything.

Ronnybrook Dairy in Chelsea Market has some good flavors and the texture is great. I once had lavender icecream there that was very good, but I have not seen it since.

L'Arte Del Gelato also has a cart in Chelsea Market, Mexican chocolate was pretty decent if I remember right...
