    Default White Castle - review

    BG and I were bored last night and we saw a commercial for the new A1 burger at White Castle. The craving grew and grew inside us until we snapped. We finally decided on which location to go to (they are few and far bwtn) and jumped in the SRT8.

    We got to the one in Lombard only to find out they closed 8 minutes before we got there for some reason. She felt defeated, but as in Harold and Kumar I felt we could not rest until we had feasted on this wonderful new invention.

    We arrived at the Army Trail road location around midnight. It seemed that many others were in the same situation as us and the place was packed. We opted for the "take out" option since there were many upstanding customers inside at such a prime hour.

    Overall the quality and value was there. The wait was worth it and the combo of onions, the hole punched pattie, and A1 is a win for this country.

    For the unlucky people who do not have a White Castle around them here is the recipe for this creation.

    Called sliders for a reason
    It is vital that we work to a few golden rules. Always work in a small team. Keep a very low profile. Only deal with people who come recommended. And it's like selling anything else: washing machines, hand made shoes, blowjobs. As long as you don't take the piss people will always come back for more. And that is not to say we don't have that special kind of magic that makes two kilos into three. But never be too greedy.

    If Lombard was closed, should have went for the one in Westmont on Cass and Ogden... open late night!

    I thought about that one or North Ave but wanted to hot route. The highway was the quickest way to get those things in my belly...
