the 2nd best raw fish in america (i've demoted it one spot since my last trip to Masa in NYC), slabs of pristine sashimi, no rolls, probably no sushi, we may even have the place to ourselves. i also need to try it out one last time before my trip to Japan that following Fri to see how it stacks up.

hmm have you been to Sushi Sam's in San Mateo? I'm sure it's no comparison but I've ate there once and if you have, you can tell me how many times better this place is ...
