Default L4P GTG in SF Bay Area?? $390pp truffle dinner @ Alexander's!!

$390 dinner is alive and well in S.F. | San Francisco Business Times

Alexander's is offering a 7 course truffle dinner at both their Cupertino and SF locations. Optional wine pairing costs another $110, so a round $500 before tax and tip.

    Who's in??

I would be up for that, but I have truffles and wine almost every night, so I'm kind of truffle'd out.

i have to give credit to ASH - they're definitely pushing the market for pricing.

after being disappointed by truffles, even in Europe during truffle season, i'd mostly a 'try-before-you-buy' truffle guy.
