    Default BEST BBQ

Raised in Kansas City I have had my fair share of great BBQ that I thought was THE best (Gates, Oklahoma Joe's, Arthur Bryants). When I went to college down South my roommate was from Memphis. We always fought about who had the best BBQ. So we finally drove to Memphis and load up on BBQ. I must say it was a close tie and a new flavor and taste as well. Always open to try new BBQ. Who do you think has some of the best BBQ around the US?

I've never had BBQ west of the Carolina's so I can't say who is the best. But, I damn near grew up on the great vinegary taste of North Carolina minced pork BBQ. If you're up for the drive, head to NC. I have family in Mount Olive, a small spec of a town that does the pickles, but Wilber's is a great spot in Goldsboro, NC.

Best BBQ ever tasted is from Neon Leon's down in a small town called Fannett, TX out on Taylor's Bayou. Some perks of growing up in the sticks.

Rendezvous in Memphis. It's off 2nd St(I think) and down this alley. Good food although I was a little nervous getting there! You have to go down this alley to get to the entrance. If you go you gotta try the sausage and cheese.
