Thread: Marche Moderne - Costa Mesa

I'm in the process of buying a second home so I have been making many trips from NJ out to OC and Nothern San Diego County over the past year. Last time while staying at Pellican Hill Resort in Newport Coast, I asked the concierge for a french bistro reccomendation.

He reccomended a place called Marche Moderne in Costa Mesa and after hearing that he was sending me to a restaurant in the South Coast Plaza Mall I was a little nervous until he said "if you do not love your meal, bring me your receipt and the hotel will give you your money back"

Let me tell you I reserve the use of the word oustanding for restaurants but I have been back 3 times now and not only is it outstanding but consistant as well. Chef/Owner always there and his wife is the pastry chef.

theres another restaurant in the same plaza i ate at that was really good, but now i cant think of it. that whole area is really nice, my brother lived about 1/2 mile down the rd
