Thread: L4P French Laundry dinner? Wed Aug 27th 8pm

i'm in a bit of a pickle - i have a 6-person reservation for dinner on Wed Aug 27th @ 8pm; and the 5 other people have just canceled on me.

in ordinary circumstances, not the biggest deal. but getting a reservation for 2 at TFL is near impossible, much less 6. if i cancel this reservation, i can kiss my inside connection goodbye.


would there be enough interest for this?


price would be approx $300/person for food, plus whatever wine we tack on the top. it will also be a late night - dinner will not end til approx 12:30am. a jacket for men is absolutely required.

any out-of-towners want to eat at TFL? this is your chance - a month's notice, flights will be cheap.

dinner's at 8pm - you can leave menlo a touch early (5:30pm) and make it in time. now that you have a job, you can justify the expense

Uh... you should see what and how much I bought in Vegas over the weekend. I can't justify any expenses for a while.
