Uni used to be very good but the chef left (but he may have returned - not sure.) It's worth a shot. It was, and still may be, a better Nobu.
Neptune Oyster is very casual but great fried clams.

I would recommend Grille 23 for steak, Antonio's (on Cambridge Street) for Italian; Hope this was helpful;

Ko Prime or Grill 23 for steak
Daily Catch in the North end for seafood/Italian (only 6-8 seats in the whole place so there is usual a long wait)
Rino's for Italian (over by the airport)
Finale's for desert
Toro for Spanish food/tapas
Personal Fav's for everyday food:
The steak tips or any special @ 75 Chestnut
The salmon at Tia's
Sam LaGrassas Chapotle Pastrami sandwiches
Drinks:
Liberty Hotel
On a side note I would not suggest Antonio's. I live a few blocks from there and have been several time with friends but haven't been impressed each time I went.I have found out that there ain't no surer way to find out whether you like people or hate them than to travel with them. ~Mark Twain

Going to Boston the second week of August. I'll be hitting up KO Prime -- heard very good things about their steak.

I always loved the raw Cherry Stone or Oysters (plus clam chowder) at The Old Union Oyster House.
Blue Ginger is excellent, but it's in Wellesley, MA.

I went to KO Prime this past Sunday and ordered a Caesar Salad, New York Strip, & Twice Baked Potato. The food was phenomenal! We had a party of 20-something people, $3,300 bill.

Excuse the poor quality, but I thought of this thread and took a picture:

The night before I went to King Fish for dinner. I ordered the Steelhead Salmon -- another great dish. I snapped a picture of that entree for you guys too:

I apologize in advance for the huge pictures.
