Default Best Eats in Vancouver, Brtish Columbia

With the 2010 Winter Olympics approaching, thought it'd be useful for a detailed list of some of the best eats in Vancouver.

I'll start off with some of my favorites:

    Gotham's Steakhouse - www.gothamsteakhouse.com
    Season's in the Park - www.vancouverdine.com/seasons/home.html
    Hakkasan - www.hakkasan.ca
    Quattro on Fourth - www.quattrorestaurants.com
    Blue Water Cafe - www.bluewatercafe.net
    Rodney's Oyster Bar - www.rodneysoysterhouse.com

    Check out Vij's.
Be warned they don't take reservations though. Doors open at 5pm, or go after 8-9 when the dinner rush has died down.

We had great meals at West and Tojo's. I was skeptical about Tojo and the hype, but he was really personable and the sushi was on the avant garde side. Many different preparations with some cooked dishes mixed into the omakase.

The service, drinks, and food at West was solid, solid, solid. I would definitely go back again when we get back to Vancouver.
