Nice... been to 16 of those. La Toque is awesome and highly underrated.

Fleur de Lys has gone from very good to almost tired now IMO. I've only darkened their door twice in the past 7 years, and neither meal was memorable or exceptional in any way. About the only takeaway for me is that I felt the service and execution was atrocious for a 4 star (as reviewed by the most powerful local critic) resto.

I've read on Chowhound that Masa's has improved recently from a culinary standpoint. The service has always been top-notch. Last time I ate there was in the Ron Siegel days before he moved on to the Dining Room at the Ritz Carlton.
When I'm not here, I'm slinging IT infrastructure or gone golfing

Out of those, I've only been to Michael Mina. Definitely an interesting dining experience, but I hear now that it's become grossly overpriced, service takes over 4 hours and the quality isn't there anymore.

    I've been to these:

    Coi

    Bouchon
    Boulevard
    Chez Panisse
The Dining Room at the Ritz Carlton
étoile (at Domaine Chandon in Yountville)
    Farmhouse Inn & Restaurant
    Fleur de Lys

Glad there are more restaurants worth trying in the Bay Area!

someone (maybe supervixen?) posted a meal from the winter that contained tomatoes... he probably is a great chef when he cooks with seasonal ingredients; and not counting his money or trying to be a TV celebrity...

glad to see Ubuntu get one star; if you go w/ me, it's easily a two-star meal.

Manresa is on the cusp of 3; Cyrus is over-rated at 2 (although i am in the minority on this position); Meadowood is ballsy @ 2 stars but i agree; glad to see Mina demoted to where it belongs - 1; and quince arguably deserves 2 (best pasta in the country bar none.)

Luce & Commis @ 1 star are surprises, but deserved.

my list (those w/ * i would return)

    The French Laundry *
    Coi *
    Cyrus
    Manresa *
    The Restaurant at Meadowood *
    Bouchon
    Boulevard
    Chez Panisse *
    Commis *
The Dining Room at the Ritz Carlton
    El Paseo (closed)
Farmhouse Inn & Restaurant * (the epitome of a true 1-star restaurant)
    Gary Danko
    La Folie
    Luce *
    Murray Circle
    One Market *
    Quince *
    Range
    Redd
    Ubuntu *
    The Village Pub *

and those i really want to try:
    Aziza
    Madrona Manor
