Default Best Place for Sushi and People in San Francisco

In my opinion I have to say Ozumo over on Steuart is pretty damn good. Large dining area, even better bar for people watching. Tons of hot chicks here, with plenty of hotels within walking distance

I had dinner at Bar Crudo on Bush St. last night. It's not sushi, but raw fish. Really delicious and the presentation was great. It's more like sashimi, no rolls. They also had this yummy grilled Aji.

Ozumo seems to consistantly get some really high grade fish that other SF sushi joints can't. I only go there for their otoro!

My favorite spot in the city is Shimo Sushi on 25th/Clement. I've been going there for 5 years, the food is great, the staff is awesome, and they let us bring our own alcohol in.

Default Review of Jade Garden- Near my Hong Kong Luxury Loft

This is a good restaurant for tourists to go to if they would like to try dim sum for the first time in Hong Kong. It was especially easy because they have little paper menus in English; you just circle the dim sum choices you would like to sample, and they will bring them out to you as they are ready. We chose four different dim sum baskets: steamed pork buns, veggie dumplings, rice and chicken wrapped in lotus leaf, and pan-fried green peppers stuffed with shrimp. Each dim sum option was delicious! The service was also pretty quick, considering it was the lunch rush hour.

Sebo and Bar Crudo are good for raw fish and sushi. My complaint about Bar Crudo is that the menu *never* changes and i'm almost certain they use farmed fish in some cases. Nonetheless, it's good for SF.

Ozumo is good for checking out women - i'd rather sit at the bar and drink instead of eat their food. It is much better than neighboring Chaya.

Ino Sushi is probably my favorite place in SF, with Sebo being a close 2nd (after that, i won't eat anywhere else.) It's about $80/pp which is decently priced and I like the atmosphere (others may not.) My only complaint is that he uses (a lot of) powdered wasabi; if he used real wasabi, his sushi would clearly be the best in SF.

i think you are ready for Sawa.

i went to Yoshi's this evening. i asked for the "omakase" room (the only way to eat sushi) when i made the reservation but, when i got there, they said it was only for parties of 8 or more.

after being seated at a table, i asked for the chef to "just make whatever he wants." this apparently meant a huge plate of sashimi and an even larger plate of sushi. my friend & i couldn't finish, and i was hoping for some of their cooked dishes.

the sashimi wasn't half-bad, even respectable (which is a HUGE compliment coming from me) but the sushi was crap.

    stay away.

Take me master. I've had sushi three nights this week. I'm on a roll.
