    Default NYC Recommendations?

I'll be in NYC next weekend for business. Which restaurants should I check out for lunch and dinner? I'd prefer not to venture too far outside of midtown.

I've already checked out Chuck's blog for some suggestions, however, I've love to get more feedback.

I know it is a little old school, but I think everyone should eat at Sparks at least once when they visit NYC

I vote Tavern on the Green---the food is great there, and prices arent bad either.

For cheap food, starstruck diner is kinda cool, very entertaining. You have to eat Stage Deli of course before leaving, nothing like their sandwichs (grab one for the plane home lol)

All of the above? I'm open to trying anything. I'll be there for five days, so the more suggestions I have the better.

    Peter Luger for steak.

    Le Bernardin for seafood.

Masa for sushi (A bit over your budget, but well worth it!)

Norma's for Brunch! (Check out previous thread)
