lunch - katz deli, eat the pastrami!
dinner - momofuku ($$$$sushi$$$$), peter luger ($$$$steak$$$$), matsuri ($$japanese$$, not as pretentious as momofuku and all the other big name restaurants. great sake menu on friday's they have model night, where modeling agencies send their models to the restaurant to eat. so many beautiful girls!!!), hit up 32nd st between 5th and Broadway and you'll find lots of good korean restaurants (all are english-speaking friendly)

Back from NYC. I had dinner at Masa on Saturday -- easily the best sushi & sashimi I've had. Thanks for the recommendation everyone. Bruce Willis was next to us. That was pretty cool.

I didn't have a chance to venture far outside of midtown, so my meals were mostly in that area. Also went to Center Cut for steak (good) and Brasserie (also good). For breakfast I ate at Gordon's Ramsey in The London hotel, which is where I stayed, twice. I recommend the eggs benedict. The names of the other restaurants I went to escape me. If I remember I'll post here.
