i actually prefer it cold - i imagine Bouchon would be very good (since TFL's is so great) for a reasonable place.
ackm3 - i sound like a broken record (to those who have heard me in the past) but you must eat at Manresa (Los Gatos.) not just for the foie, but i honestly believe it's the best restaurant in the country.

The pot of foie gras at Bouchon is $47. It's quite a lot, you can definitely share it amongst a few people.
As for Manresa, I'm dying to go, it's at the top of my list after seeing your review. Thanks Chuck
