I've actually heard the reverse about the two places, the one in SF is supposedly better. I guess I'll have to try both, but I already have a long list of places to try in Vegas (JR is at the top, but that's gonna have to wait a bit).

The one in SJ is a steakhouse I think, never been.

That's what I heard too, so I ended up trying both. I think the key may be the restaurants in Vegas are so competitive and close to each other, they have to do their best or they quickly fail.

There's also a Japanese joint at the very top of Caesar's forums, really fresh and good fish - reasonable prices. I heard their sister restaurant in Pasadena isn't so great either.

Good stuff.

Funny, the guy I brought to SR yesterday (Rob, blue 996 cab) told me about the same place. I guess I better add it to the list.

Agree with DimNslow...Not impressed with Michael Minna.
