    Default CZ: U Sadlu, Prague

I'm not sure how many of you have been to CZ or will ever go there, but whenever I go back, I usually meet my friends here on the first or second night. The medieval decor is kind of kitsch, but it's a lot of fun and the food is very typical Czech fare done well and fresh.

Last time I went, my Czech buddy told his chef friend to bring the Americans a sample of Czech food, and this is what they brought us...

And a short video tour of the place...

I'm not sure what happened to the pics I posted, so I'll attach them.

First pic is of skvarky, which is essentially bits of fried pork crackling mixed with lard and spread on dark rye bread. It's definitely a Czech thing haha.

As I wrote, last time I went, my Czech buddy told his chef friend to bring the Americans a sample of Czech food, and this is what they brought us...

And here is another great place to go should you ever find yourself in Prague; U Vejvodů, a traditional Czech beer hall with great food and a really cool atmosphere.

The special here is a whole roasted pig's knee served on a mini-spit with a bunch of different sauces. My friend's attempt at it is attached haha! Last pic shows just how serious Czechs are about their beer; a sign that essentially reads "God Bless You" over the tap.

If we ever take an L4P field-trip to CZ; we will visit those places and much more. Epicurean delights are still for the most part dirt cheap in CZ until they convert to the Euro; a .5-liter mug of really good beer is about $2 in the middle of Prague and about $1 outside of Prague.
