Post My Perfect Meal for 2008

my list of the best things i ate around the world this year. read the blog entry for detailed descriptions of anything that catches your fancy:

ChuckEats blog Perfect Meal for 2008

they are listed in no particular order. i ate a little more than i expected last year; predictably, my plans are scaled-back this year but I did approach 2008 with that same mentality so who knows where I'll go for 2009.

most of the dishes are from 8-15 course meals - you never leave empty.

Very interesting to see quinoa playing such a prominent role in fine continental cuisine, an interesting pairing. I've never been a huge swordfish fan (probably because I've never had a really fresh piece), but that bit from Sushiso Masa looks plain amazing.
