Anyone been to The Inn at Robert's Grove in Belize??
Just on the off-chance that someone might have been here:
Robert's Grove - Placencia, Belize
My company's President's Club trip is there, and I'm wondering what to expect. Look like a whole lot of relaxation on and in the water....

I just went to Belize at the beginning of October only stayed on Ambergris Caye to dive. Went to the main land for two days, awesome time and beautiful country. People are friendly but can get crazy asking you to buy things in the tourist areas. Food was excellent too- but I try to avoid tourist restaurants and eat where the locals go. I can't speak about the place that you are staying but it looks very nice!

Funny, was just watching a show on Travel Channel this morning where they went to Belize and Ambergris Caye. Looked great!

English is the official language right?
Is it comperhencable english or "Jamaican"?

I've been told the English spoken "in country" is decipherable.

Then again, I'm not sure how often we'll be venturing off of the resort grounds. I know that there are several tours set up, but I'm not sure how far any towns are from where we're staying.When I'm not here, I'm slinging IT infrastructure or gone golfing

Have not been to this resort but have been on mainland Belize for trip to El Castillo, the Mayan Ruins. Belize has not been ruined by too much commercial tourism.

Leo DiCaprio just made a purchase down there. Should be a great trip!
