L4P Euro Meet **Plan Thread**
Guys, I am serious about this. Since I do not have any plans for the summer yet, let's try and see if we can make up some plans with the L4P Euro gang? I want to use this thread to check if there is any interest in setting up a meet somewhere in the summer.
Let's brainstorm, let the creative juices flow!
My ideas:
Where // Germany, since it is GOOD for everything car related, we have several active Germans on here and it is somewhat central located
What // visit Audi - BMW - MB - Hamann - Novitec - Nurburgring - anything, you name it. Lots of good stuff to do in Germany.
When // somewhere in july / august would suit me just fine. But since I don't have other plans yet I could be flexible. It would be best to make it two to three days.
Who?

This is such a great idea! I'll have to check if I'm not doing anything that I'm tied to, and you should pin a date/start spot/ duration.
EDIT: After Pm'ing you Dutchie; here are some of my thoughts:
1- First of all, we should set up a list, with everyone who (would) come(s).
2- Is this a one day meet? Do we stay on one place? etc.
3- Where do we meet? Germany is fine, but IMO you should stay in the west, maybe Nürburg? Close to the Autobahn? etc.
4- What do we do when we meet? We could grab some lunch, go for a drive,...
5- If all the above is settled, a attending car list would be welcome
Dutchie, I can't tell you how much I like the idea!Last edited by Suprageex; 03-11-2010 at 07:01 PM.

Here is an idea I had and send to dutchie via PM:
"Your idea is great and Germany offers a lot of car related things to visit.
The BMW World in Munich is awsome to visit and the enclosed museum as well. They offer guided group tours for both of those as well as tours through their production facilities.
Also they have some fine Biergarten in Munich and good restaurants.
Also I could think of my hometown (Dresden) where they produce the VW Phaeton in a transparent production facility. Tours are also available. They include an awsome restaurant to this."
Some links to take a look at:
BMW Welt in Munich:
BMW Welt
The transparent manufacture Dresden:
DIE GLSERNE MANUFAKTUR (THE TRANSPARENT FACTORY)
I am sure there are a lot of other things to do.

BMW Welt sounds really good as something to go to.
Something that just came up to me: maybe a friday-saturday-sunday thing? Friday to all be able to get to wherever we are going, fri-sat to prepare for a long saturday with BMW Welt + maybe more, have a great evening and get back home on sunday.
