    Default property management software

    what do you guys use?

my aunt recently bought a standalone off of ebay and it looks promising. usually there is a subscription service for the big name programs, but she said she didn't want to pay for it because of possible technical problems. she's looking to input all sorts of information into the computer and have it easily understandable for the accountant.

just wondering, what you guys with multiple properties use...

My situation is probably different than most, but we use our law-management software for our rental properties as well. It's called Abacus, if that helps.

We are currently making the conversion from Yardi to Rent Manager. Seems to be much more intuitive than the former. We currently use this to run thousands of units and works pretty nicely.

We use RealPage property management software to manage multiple properties. They are great for storing all your data in one place. It's also great because it's web-based which allows you to access the data you need from anywhere. You could also look into Buildium as another option- I hear good things but I don't have much experience with them.

    Hope that helps!

Online property management software makes the job of property management a lot simpler and easier.

I used Quickbooks as a management program for a while. Kinda clunky but it worked. now I just went back to using Excel! for commercial stuff we use Skyline.
