Thread: Redwood trees value? (11 acres) 100ft+

Hi guys I have about 11 acres of redwood trees, at least 100ft tall. I'm thinking of clearing out the whole area and wanted to know what I can do. Any lumber companies that will come in and pay for the trees?

I would think so. We had some walnut trees on our property come and cleared off and some of the tree's can be worth TONS of money (don't know the difference in value of a redwood compared to a walnut).

The thing is for a lumber company to come in most of them only want to come if they can get X amount of trees or you have Y amount of land. 11 acres isn't small, but to a lumber company it is and may not be worth their while. We had 100 acres to have the people come in on and even then it was kind of hard finding people willing to come and do it.
