    Default Rain shower

Looking to completely redo my bathroom. Just put in a sauna, hot tub, and now redoing the shower in granite.

So, I was at a friends house and she had a kick ass rain shower that changed colors and a whole bunch of other un needed things.

Does anyone have one here, or recommendations?

I have also not decided if I want to use an arm, or just re-do the piping and have it mounted to the ceiling, so I am open to both right now.

The bathroom will look great when it's finished.

Kohler DTV setup... sound, steam, lights, and multiple heads... about $7k for all the parts. Beautiful setup but dont know anyone with it so cannot comment on reliability or things to lookout for.

I'm curious to hear why- I haven't heard any real reviews from owners.... what components are you using?

It's a DTV system with 6 water tile, ambient rainhead tile, speakers, and a hand wand.

So far it's done the following...
    1) Was stuck on Max Cold for about a week.
    2) Rain head shower leaks and they can't fix it.
    3) Massage feature is like me peeing on your leg.
    4) System reports an error about every 10 times and needs to be powered off.
    5) a few other things I tried t purge from memory

Also, prepare to spend a fortune on a Kohler installer as the typical plumber will be in shock. The instructions require a minor in engineering from a major university.

Kohler replaced the 'brain" of the unit twice, and it still doesn't work properly.

Not bad for an $8,000 shower.

Don't even get me started on the 2 person bathtub I bought from them.

^^It's a shame Kohler's quality has really gone down the tube.

Honestly you are better off getting independent components. One of those square rain heads that pours from the ceiling that has immense spa pressure, an independent steam system, and an independent audio/light system
