    i know this because he has a lease that they signed that says so. per the op, they make no claims to ownership of the land and that the lease says they may build a structure with a max value of 30k on that property. the lease also details what happens when the lease ends, none of those options mentioned a temporary or perpetual easement.

    I would be far more concerned if the lease made no mention of it, they built it, and used it without problems from the landowner for 10 years....they might actually get a judge to give an easement in that case (which is still ridiculous but happens).
