    Default My First (Rented) House!

So I just moved out of my parents house this past weekend! A neighbor of my parents actually had this house belong to her dad, and he moved so the house has been on the market for a year now. If it hadn't sold by March 31 I would be able to rent it for a very minimal cost starting April 1. Well, we got the uHaul and moved me and the girlfriend in April 2nd. These pictures were taken a week before move in, we have re painted several rooms and I have cleaned out the garage etc.

Its a little out in the country, 10min drive into town, but its a 3 bed room, 1.5 bath room, living room, family room, kitchen and dining room, all on a 1.8 acre lot! I know its no mansion, but its my first time moving out!

Definatly needs a lot of clean up and some maintenance, but I got plans to make it look top notch!

Thanks, I'll have to take some more pictures later this week after we get things set up. I had no idea I was that out of shape! One weekend of moving things and a day of fixing things, I don't think I'm going to last at work today!

Just about everything is 50/50, although I have made sure I pay for some of the more high dollar items if things go south lol.

The owner is my parents neighbor, so the lease is through me alone, but she pays me half rent. Water and propane is paid, we pay for trash and electricity, we created a joint account that we each pay our half into, basically so we can send one check for the amount, I don't pay anything into it until the bills are due.

I bought our refrigerator (not pictured, the garage one came with the house), my TV/Receiver/Gaming Consoles, microwave is my moms old one etc.

It was finally warm for once after work yesterday, so I dug out my detailing supplies and gave my car its first basic wash and (spray) wax since I have been at the house. When it actually warms up I'll use my good stuff and clean the car properly. (And don't comment about the wheels....I'm putting the stock ones back on once I save up enough for new DWS tires.)
