The place is also at the end of a narrow two-lane street, which means all the residents around will have to deal with the construction traffic, noise, dust, etc. for years to come, not to mention all of the gawkers the place will inevitably attract.

It may not be right for them to try to block it, but I can understand why they might be frustrated, lol.

I fully understand this point of view...

90% of my income is from home development and pre construction investments, mostly high end condominiums.

Its one of those things where we all pay taxes to live in the neighborhood of our choosing. And by that fact alone we have to respect each other and offer common courtesies. (where I get not liking grass cut too early or other noises too early or too late.)

But you have to draw a line where your wanted courtesies from thy neighbor is asking too much...

Imagine buying a 10 or 20 million dollar penthouse in a prime location downtown or by the water 2 years ago and pre construction starts at a new building at a recently purchased chunk of land... Now you begin to think how much life is going to suck with noise and dirt around your building for the next 2-3 years.

Granted its not a house and its a little different but nevertheless your not always going to get your way, which would better suit your life.

C'est la vie!
