From everything that I read, the business climate is far superior in NC. They are consistently ranked first or second as the best place to do business. Miami is a huge population center so the competition for jobs will always be fierce. NC might actually offer better opportunities. Just network like hell and follow up, follow up, follow up on every contact. I wish I had a lead or two for you. Good luck!

south florida is great, i have been here 6 years and i love it. that being said, un less you are flat out stinkin rich, miami isnt for you. check out west palm beach area over miami. cheaper, less dangerous, if you want an in at mercedes or similar dealers here i can help you too. i know em all.

broward or palm beach is where I would look into, as far as living arrangements go.
