5,700 Sq Ft here. Our power bill last month was $700. It was a bit cold.
That and the house was built in 1820.PAC

The house is bank owned so it's foreclosed for default nonpayment of mortgage. That's why the price is what it is.
What I would do and what I've done in the past is call the electrical company that services the house and ask them for the average bill for the last 12 months. They have this on file and it takes 5 minutes for them to look it up. Find out from the realtor what time the previous owner left and go from there. If it's a few months, then the average is accurate. If it's been vacant 6+ months, it's a bit tougher, but they can call out bills prior to that.

NO way! I would say it would be more. I live in Las vegas house is a little over 4000 sq ft and the electric bill its self ranges from 500-700.
So on a house thats almost 3 times bigger then mine.
I would say multiply the price by about 3. Because of all of the AC units, lights, and everything else it takes to power that sucker!

My mom an dad live in a 6500 sq ft place in Los Angeles. It's just the two of them and they do all they can to conserve but their bill is still $700-1200 a month depending on the time of year. I'ts single story also
