Thread: Apartment investment...?

Sorry I wrote my post from my phone so It wasnt properly written.

Basically the place I want isnt done yet. Before it is finished, they want 15% down. From an investors prospective, I can get 3 places putting 5% down for each other place. But I dont have that type of money to spend while going to school full time. So buying one condo at 250k seems smarter.

So far for the first phase, people who selling are making an average profit of 30k...

And are they selling fast? If it's a hot sell, then maximize that $! 3x30 vs 1x30. As long as you can carry them for as long as you need to to sell. In which case it sounds like you're a bit nervous of being stuck with them. Why not protect yourself a bit. 2x30 with that last 5% sitting around at protection to carry the units for awhile until they sell.
