Default You've gotta see this house in the Cayman Islands

I just recently spent some time in the Cayman Islands and could not believe the size and beauty of this home. Located just south of Georgetown right on the Caribbean. A local had commented that the home named "Castillo Caribe" is viewable on the Internet so I thought I'd share with the L4P fam.

    Here is the details listed:
    48,000 square feet
Listed for or at one time for $59,950,000 (not sure if that's USD or Cayman Dollars)
Owned by a 35 year old billionaire and his wife
I was told that he was a fixed income trader who developed software in which money markets are traded

If you look closely at the first picture, I think that's a Geo Metro in the driveway off to the right. Either someones doing some cleaning or this dude is definitely and I mean definitely not into cars.

Tell him his home is absolutely stunning, I saw his name listed, but out of respect I did not want to post it. Out of curiosity, any idea what the hurricane insurance would run annually on a home that size and value? It's quite expensive down there and could not help but notice that many beautiful homes were destroyed by Ivan in 2004 and were never repaired due to the lack of insurance.

Could you imagine the parties that place could host?

For insurance you can expect 1% of the house value. I'm sure Jerry got it for less given the house is built like a fortress.

There aren't that many homes left unrepaired, just a handful.
