    Default is miami real estate really as depressed as they say?

    looking at getting a place in miami (preferably south beach). what is a good website to look and see what is available and what real estate pricing is?

    Yes the market in South Fla. is still going down. Although you do see alot selling, most are shortsales or Foreclosures. The biggest issue is getting a bad to finance you.

    If you are going to buy, do it now. The market is slowly turning and we are even starting to see some areas have slight price increases.

    I was looking for property out there as well, I just need something decent in a nicer area, where I won't get killed and my cars won't get stolen weekly.

    I am interested as well. I was in Miami two weeks ago, i did not get to search for places as much as i would have liked to, but decided it maybe time to get serious about a condo.

    There are currently 103 total units for sale and/or rent in that building. This includes short sales & foreclosure, maintenance fees are around $300-$1100/month and can go up at anytime; Hope this helps.
