Brother had a high-end loft no more than 300 yds. from Comerica Park for 9 months. Walk down to the ballpark 3rd or 4th inning, buy a $5 ticket on the street and make a decent night for a wednesday. I'm biased - I love this state and Detroit.

In the city limits of Detroit, prices have dropped dramatically. In the suburbs, like 15 miles out there are still homes in 200 to 400 k range. Granted its a better neighborhood, but Detroit city is nothing anymore. Just sports venues .
