    Ideal space has been downsized.
Luxury bungalow 1700 sq feet with fully developed basement (another 1550) sq feet with attached double garage. Here I could build new with lot and taxes for around $700k-750k.

I think that 3500sq ft would be plenty for me in my bachelor pad

I like modern mixed with cozy, and that is hard to make mesh well.

And that is huge, 44k must rival a small palace!

1200sqft here, just my wife and I. Its perfect for us, could use a bit more storage space, but its an older home with very little closet space.

I am a real estate agent and the total sqft isn't always that important. Have seen some smaller sqft homes that have a great layout that feel huge. We have a 1950 sqft home in one of our subdivisons that sells alot. Feels like much much more then 1950sqft.

2200 Sq ft on one level. Me, the wife, our dog and baby coming soon. Its been a great home but I know it will feel small soon.
4 Bed 2 Bath, large yard, man cave and 2 car garage. Range Rover has to sit outside

Ideal? Wayne Manor (Mentmore Towers) with Tony Stark's garage. Any guess on how many sq ft that might be?
Ill post pictures when I build it someday

Parents house is 3500 sqft with 4 bedrooms and a 2 car garage. Gets a little cramped with 5 people sometimes but the finished basement really helps. My house in WV is 2800 sqft with 5 bedrooms and a 2 car garage. Its a 3 story house so I'm interested to see how it works out for parties and having people over. I would rather have 2 large floors then 3 smaller ones.

My friends house is 11k sqft and has a lot of unused space. 5 bedrooms and 3 floors with a 4 car garage. The family room and kitchen is the same size because the entry way and living room is so large. High ceilings do help though.

Personally i would want 2500 sqft for living and 1000 sqft for a garage. Massive bedrooms serve no purpose to me. My parents have a private study that is never used for nothing more the storage.
